Energy is Awesome is an educational program that has been in place at FortisBC since 2006. The program is delivered in the form of an interactive presentation by FortisBC trained employees that teaches children GrK to G7 about energy safety, energy usage and conservation. The presentation takes about an hour to deliver and provides a great opportunity for students to learn how energy is used and delivered in BC. The presenter will provide a background for the program, provide a description of the program elements as well as a summary that will define the necessary requirements for program participation.
